I rarely ever wear rompers or dresses these days because they’re not exactly ~breastfeeding-friendly~, but this ensemble is quite an exception. The romper is a hand-me-down from my mom (which I later found out was also handed down to her by my aunt) and it gives me school girl feels! I initially intended to wear a simple round neck shirt inside, but decided to don a polo instead because of mommy duties. I also thought of dressing up this outfit by wearing my favorite heels at the moment, but sneakers won my internal debate. I would have went all-out school girl with a knapsack of some sorts, but I’m kinda digging looking like a mom these days, lol.
Oh and yep – we all wore denim for a Sunday out with the rest of the family! Call me tacky, but I love matching outfits with my husband and daughter! I don’t think I’ll go all the way to wearing exactly the same thing though (I cringe at the sight of couple shirts, sorry), but wearing the same elements to achieve a cohesive look? Yes please!
!!! STYLE TIP !!!
If you want to match with your loved ones but don’t want to sport the exact same outfit, take elements from each other’s outfit (case in point above: denim). It doesn’t have to be the exact same shade or wash, too! Just make sure that this element will be the focal point of both your outfits. To do that, keep everything else clean/minimal/basic/toned down.
These days, I use selfies to check my makeup. Mirrors aren’t very reliable anymore, apparently! Does anybody else feel the same way/do the same thing?
Anyway, I’m glad to have shared another style tip with you guys again – do comment down below re: your take on matching outfits! I’d love to see how you do it with your friends/loved ones 😉
